Welcome

Welcome and thank you for visiting my new blog.  I am very proud of it and I’m excited to tell you about it.  Thanks to a wonderful blog designer, Shari Miller, I finally have the blog of my dreams. I hoping that my blog will be very useful, informative and an exciting place to visit.

Our Country Farmhouse is about my home, my love for the country life and my inspirations.  My love for my farmhouse, for great pieces of furniture, beautiful art, great antique finds, gardening and entertaining all were the motivations for creating a new place to talk about all the things I love.  I also love to share my decor ideas.  You don’t have to spend a lot to make a beautiful space, you just have to be believe in your instincts and trust your sense of style.

What I’m most excited about is my shop page.  After having my own decor store for three years, one of my favorite things to do was to shop for clients or find special pieces that helped make the store a unique and beautiful shop.   I closed the store a few years ago but my love for finding unique art, decor, textiles, and beautiful items to create a lovely environment lives on.  So from my favorite antique stomping grounds, weekend away trips or a bit of my own creations, I’ve decided to sell some of my favorite things on this blog.

Along with decor, I will share great recipes, tips on entertaining and my novels and the latest with my writing.
