Happy Winter Everyone!
Yes I’m still alive. I don’t know about you all but instagram is like spark notes for a blog. It’s the quick way to get your creative need met to post without the work. It’s so much easier to just post a pic and a few words than to write a post on a blog. As much as I love doing that and enjoy instagram, I do love the intimacy of a good blog post.
It’s 2022! Hard to believe. I can’t even look out those numbers without feeling weird. I think I’m still stuck in nineteen ninety something.
We all had Covid for Christmas. My entire family, but so did everyone else. So surreal all of this is. I can’t help wishing I could go back in time. I long for normalcy which will probably never exist again or at least the way I remembered it.
I’m 56 now, a grandmother of three with one on the way, all from my oldest son. I just started working again in November after not working for over ten years. Hard to jump back in.
I am working on my fifth book now, slowly but trying. It’s been hard to be creative when the world is so bizarre but I’m determined.
It’s been a strange winter and I swore I wouldn’t make a New Years resolution because no one ever really follows through but I am making a commitment to have my fifth book completed and published by the end the fall.
I hope you are well. Will keep you posted!
